Background

Legal requirement FFFS 2014:5

An undertaking shall have appropriate processes for managing its IT systems. The undertaking shall document the processes and describe the circumstances of importance for managing its IT systems in a controlled way. The undertaking shall consider the nature, scope and complexity of the operations when applying the first paragraph.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Is there a handling of disaster situations in the document?
  • Is the documentation clearly divided into a brief overall central process description combined with many local more detailed process descriptions?
  • Does the team experience that the documentation is helpful?
  • Does the documentation reflect the team's actual work?
  • Is the documentation handled with a version control system so that users can easily find and return to previous version?
  • Can all team members, without preparation, describe their work process and show where it is described?

Benefit Hypotheses

  • By documenting the real work process, knowledge of how to best perform the daily work will increase.
  • The team is confident and proud to design their team-based development process.
  • Reduced learning time when new team members are added.
