Legal requirement FFFS 2014:5
5§ An undertaking shall have documentation for each individual IT system that is of importance to the operation. These systems shall be specified in a list that is to be regularly reviewed and updated if so required.
Acceptance Criteria
- Has the team and its closest stakeholders agreed that the documentation is at the right level?
- Is the documentation used in the daily work for example in development or incident management?
- Does the team experience that the documentation is helpful?
- Does the documentation reflect the current version of the system?
- Is the documentation version-edited along with the current version of the system and the respective environment?
- Is the documented systems included in a overview list of all systems?
- Does the documentation include description of connections between the current system and other systems?
Benefit Hypothesis
- By quickly understanding and finding in the system, it will be faster to develop or to make analyzes.
- Increase the common knowledge of the system that reduces learning time.
