Have you sometimes been struck by the change in behavior from people who get a managerial position? From one day to another, they can move into a more controlling and less comradely style. It seems as the responsibility affect them more than they are aware of . It especially interesting with people who advocate warmly about delegation and trust, but in action, such guiding principles can just disappear.
